On Tuesday 16th of August supporters of vaping gathered on the steps of the Victorian Parliament to oppose new legislation that would restrict their sale and use and call instead for vaping to be recognised as a useful tool in reducing the harm of nicotine consumption for those that cannot quit, or choose not to quit smoking. Guest speakers included Dr Attila Danko, Dr Colin Mendelsohn and Fiona Patten MLC. The two doctors spoke about their patients who had successfully quit smoking using e-cigarettes and the growing evidence of significantly reduced harm.
